3Way Racing, 2013′s RunTheBluegrass Jaguar Platform chip timing company
With three extremely experienced partners based in Lexington and Louisville, 3Way Racing has been growing and expanding right alongside us. The Jaguar chip timing system is the most elite in the business, more accurate than any other system around.
Abby Laub, Official Race Photographer
While Abby is originally from upstate New York, she and her husband Jeff (a native Louisvillian) now live and work in Lexington on all kinds of projects under the sun, including their growing photography & video firm, J.A. Laub Photography. On top of her RunTheBluegrass finish line photography, Abby is also a freelance journalist for Southern Indiana Living Magazine, The Lane Report, Business Lexington and BG Magazine. Clearly, Abby’s community inroads are expansive and beautiful!
Bob Baney, Course and Event Developer
Bob is a triathlete and a certified Race Director with 3WayRacing out of Louisville and Lexington – and has been working with us for two years now. For our inspirational course in and behind Keeneland, Bob has spent countless hours measuring and remeasuring tangents and exact distances so our 13.1 miles are as accurate as they come!
Bob is also one of the most well-connected persons in Central Kentucky’s running, swimming and biking community you’ll ever meet.
Kerry’s full-time job is Associate Production Manager at Blood-Horse Publications and before that worked with IMG College Sports. Her project management and organizational skills – not to mention her creativity – make her absolutely perfect to build our Race Expo into a full-fledged celebration of springtime’s arrival in the Bluegrass!
For runners’ questions about 2013′s RunTheBluegrass Expo, or if your business or organization would like to inquire about space at our expo (Thursday and Friday, March 28-29th in Keeneland’s Entertainment Center), simply email Kerry at RunTheBluegrass dot org.
Faith Cracraft, Volunteer Coordinator
One of the friendliest, most-organized leaders we know, Faith’s regular work at nearby Georgetown College makes her uniquely qualified to help us with THE MOST important aspect of our own work – serving and coordinating our volunteers so our volunteers can serve YOU, our runners!
Email Faith at RunTheBluegrass dot org if you have any questions or would like to show off our Bluegrass’s beauty to the world, by volunteering with us during Race Weekend!
When you grow like we’ve grown over these first three years, from 900 registrants in 2011, to 2200 last year in 2012, to an expected 3000-4000 runners from 40+ states and 5+ countries this March 30th, providing supreme customer service is THE TOP priority. Hence, this year, we’ve hired Rachel Crabtree specifically for this job alone, to take care of YOU. You’re not just a runner to us, you’re Kentucky’s customer, and you have a native Kentuckian watching out for you!
If you have any race questions or needs at all, please don’t hesitate to email Rachel at RunTheBluegrass dot org, her inbox is always open!
Or, if you’re not a user of social media, come see Eric at our Race Expo, March 28th and 29th at Keeneland! His favorite part of race organizing is meeting all of our runners from all over, in person!
