We’ve been years overdue for a makeover - and finally it’s here! Talon Winery and Vineyards, located at the very southern tip of Lexington near the Kentucky River, is situated amongst some of the coolest country roads you’ll ever traverse anywhere in the United States!
Tates Creek Road is literally the road our Race Director, Eric, grew up on as a kid, and the adjacent country lanes like Jacks Creek Pike and Delong Roads are where his dad took him to learn how to drive when he turned sixteen.
Talon Winery and its surrounding 13.1 miles afford you and us some of the most peaceful, heavenly, quaint running spots you’ll ever experience!
Not even mentioning some of the really cool and unique attractions right near Talon like the Kentucky Palisades, Boone Creek Outdoors, Raven Run Nature Sanctuary, Clays Ferry, as well as the remarkable Taylor Made Farm, once home to all-time great Thoroughbred, California Chrome!
